Snow Day Swim Day

We started off our Spring Break with 13 inches of snow.  Not exactly what we had in mind!  To try to avoid the white stuff, we headed up to the local hotel.  You can get a day pass to the pool and swimming seemed more spring break-like than snow. We spent pretty much the entire day at the pool (5 hours to be exact) and had it mostly to ourselves.  None of the kids seemed to get tired of swimming.  I'm not sure how we managed to get 5 hours of fun out of this place, but we had to drag the kids out kicking and screaming.

We even packed our lunch and had a picnic at the pool!
Eventually Drew and I had enough pool fun.  I thought everyone would crash as soon as we got home.  But, oh no!  Not with 13 inches of snow on the ground!  It was snowman time. Little Luke did take a nap, but the other two helped Dad build the tallest snowman in DeWitt County!

It was a full day, and fun way to kick off spring break...from the pool to the snow and back to the pool.  (That's right, we hit up the pool one last time before bed.  Yes, we are crazy!).
